Hey There!

<a class="viewer" title="Management Area" This is the home of Odeebo a lightweight, free and open-source, PHP/MySQL based content management system that is the successor to Logicfury. Odeebo has many wonderful features such as:

Fast and lightweight

Search Engine Friendly URL's - No query strings in sight!

SQL/HTML Query Caching for performance

Super simplistic layout - no operation manual needed

Bridging support - linked registrations and logins to your favourite forum, photo gallery, etc

外国語を話しますか？ Great, there's multilingual support for that!

Generates valid X/HTML and CSS

UTF-8 is fully supported

Built on the Odeebo Framework for developer friendliness

Theme support without any strict structure - build it the way you want

Modular design makes it easy to develop new features

Familiar MVC approach

Distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike License

So what happened to Logicfury?
Logicfury became Odeebo. Odeebo is Logicfury rewritten from scratch in an object orientated manner to aid faster development and produce a more efficient system. Logicfury was in development for six years yet never quite reached a state where it's author saw it fit to release a final version (a perfectionists bane). Odeebo will see that final version. It has been in development since September '08 and already matches the feature set found in Logicfury but with a fraction of the code and greater performance - joy!

Oh, sounds great. Can I download it now?
Well it's coming along nicely and but it's not quite ready yet, much like a fine wine that needs time to mature. However expect the beta version to be available this summer. Until then keep an eye on the SVN repository at Google Code.

Finally, what on earth does "Odeebo" mean?
You'll like this answer, it means nothing at all
